Pontchartrain Shakers
A blues project from the North Shore of Lake Ponchartrain above New Orleans. Both Jojjo and Amedee have deep ties to the blues and jazz world in New Orleans and its clear the minute they pick up their guitars and play. Releasing on February 20th, their second album, Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease is an experience of original blues music that crosses genresm featuring the talanted Earl Smith on Drums and Red Devecca on bass. I played my part as recording, mixing, and mastering engineer alongside fantastic engineers at Rabadash Studio in Mandeville, LA.
Christian Brooks
A hidden legend of Texas Blues, has ties to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Sheppard and has touched countless more with his kind nature and excellent craftsmanship. Skilled as a leatherworker, a drummer, a songwriter, and a guitarist, he performs all over the DFW area.
I acted as recording and mixing engineer in studio with Christian for his album Lucky Me, featuring Texas blues legends like Anson Funderburgh and Mike Morgan. Recorded with Kenny Kranzow and Reddot Studios.
SORA
A talented pop singer, songwriter, and performer from New Orleans, Sora "effortlessly blends powerfully passionate vocals, warm and groovy pop productions, hard-hitting choreography, and striking visuals into the perfect performance. A potion made with emotions and personal memories that turns every experience into a breathtaking love story. Drawing from his personal love for J-Pop and K-Pop music, as well as his own Taiwanese heritage, sora strives to not only be the representation that he didn’t see growing up, but a true creative tour de force."
I assisted in the production of Sora's first album, Paramount.
Unlockable Characters
"The Unlockable Characters project is an attempt to time travel with the community surrounding the members involved in the videos. It's a project that focuses on covers from pop culture such as anime, cartoons, TV shows, and movies. Though they do covers from current media, they seek to preserve these beloved themes from the past. While the Unlockable Characters has a core group of 6, they are known to rotate in members to feature other talented local musicians for choice themes or sounds. The Unlockable Characters believes in the community that believes in this music.”
